While everyone I work with takes a vacation around this time...I sadly do not have a vacation planned until November...the week before Thanksgiving.
So while I work three times as hard to make sure deadlines don't fall through the cracks and clients are happy and the right documents are filed, everyone else takes a nice vacation or two or three. I just keep telling myself not to worry, because in November when its about 50 degrees here...I will be in the nice 80+ degree weather of the Carribean!

Color Personality
So I stumbled across another blogger's site and found the Color Personality Test.
My result for my primary color was:
Red - The color red represents what we most often think of as born leaders. From a young age red personality types like to take charge. As children they create the rules to the games they invite others to play. Extreme red personality types can be characterized by the saying Its my way or the highway.
They usually gravitate to positions of authority. They can be bossy and over bearing. Red personality types are dominant personalities that are not easily intimidated. They resist being controlled by anyone. As children they are often thought of as strong-willed, forceful and determined.
Red personality types believe that the ability to solve problems and take charge of any given situation defines whether one is competent or not. Most red personality types are forceful in their approach to life.
My result for my secondary color was:
Green - These are people that we might refer to as "Rocks of Gibraltar." They are fair and dependable. They are honest and stable. They are loving and reliable. They live their lives with a great deal of integrity.
They take a larger view of the world and see things from a reference of wholeness and completeness. They pride themselves in being able to see the "big" or "whole" picture. Their word has great value and they do not give it lightly. When they commit, their word is their bond. They are in a constant progression toward wholeness.
They love to categorize and view the world from a systems perspective. They enjoy consistency and like things that have a measure of predictability. They are empathetic but not overly sympathetic. They rebuke with without judgment, counsel with mild but strong hearts. They are temperate, modest and wise.
Hmm...so I'm a walking contradiction of myself?

Weekend in Review
So my ThirtyOne party, hosted by my lovely cousin's wife, went off beautifully! And to top it off her husband, my cousin, his Nascar team won the race at Chicagoland Speedway that night. It was a fabulous Saturday.

Sunday, we went to lunch with the Canadian's mom and dad, my lovely MIL and FIL. They are wonderful people. We went to the Canadian's favorite restaurant, Fontanella's. They have yummy authentic Italian/Scilian food.
Then last night was spent watching True Blood with the bestie "E". Oh my word, I seriously want to have a Sookie-like body.

Almost Done
So my floors are almost complete. The tile guy, Ben, ran out of the molding to go around the wall and has to come back today and finish it off in the master bath. But the floors look AMAZING!!!! I will post pictures this weekend.
My cousin's wife "K" sells Thirty-One products, so tomorrow I am hosting a party at my mother's house. So we will see how that goes. "K" and my cousin "R" have two beautiful identical twin boys that are 21 months old. They are my precious boys, I love them dearly.

This is B&G the other weekend. They are such lil boys now and not my babies that I'm used to. They are growing up so fast.
I'm so excited it is Friday!

New Floors
So the Canadian and I came home to find our condo looking like....

Yes, your eyes are not mistaken, that's a table piled on top of my buffett's in my kitchen and the guest bathroom toilet in the tub and no moving room in our bedroom. (that's the Canadian dusting off the tv).
However, after they were done for the day, the wonderful gentlemen of Empire Flooring did an excellent job of cleaning up and moving things back for us. And the floors look wonderful.
Today they are finishing our bedroom and tiling our laundry room, kitchen, and the master bath.

Welcome
Welcome...I am a late 20's wife and mother to two precious furbabies. I've started this to keep a reminder of our times in life as we are now.
We are currently living in a small 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo with our two pups. Today we are having hardwoods and porcelain tile installed in our condo after I have lived there for 4 1/2 years.

as you can tell from the picture, its a yellowish tan color carpet...now it will be a beautiful honeytoned wood that is just a shade darker than our cabinets...that is my furbaby Puck (he's a mini rat terrier)
In the bathroom the tile color is a beige/ivory color and the tile in the kitchen and laundry room area called Noce (pictured)
